Vice President of Strategic Engagement


Leslie is responsible for building and maximizing relationships with a portfolio of prospects to exceed an annual fundraising goal of $1 million, furthering IYI’s goal to increase the well-being of all Indiana Youth.

In this role, she executes and oversees the development of strategic and creative engagement plans, engages high-level investors and prospects, writes reports and manages the details of follow-up.

In addition, she serves as an associate faculty member at the Indiana University Kelley School of Business teaching a service learning course.

Leslie earned her bachelor’s degree from Stephens College and her master’s degree from the IU Lilly Family School of Philanthropy.

Prior to joining IYI, Leslie served as a regional philanthropy officer for the American Red Cross Indiana Region. She also worked on the IUPUI campus as a fundraiser for the Indiana University Kelley School of Business and the Indiana University School of Liberal Arts.

Leslie is passionate about philanthropy and seeing how the spirit of generosity can improve the lives of kids and youth.  She also loves spending time with her supportive husband, Michael, and their two school-aged children.
