WEBINAR: Success for Minority Youth: Why Ensuring College and Career Success of Underrepresented Populations is Different

March 21, 2018

1:00pm - 2:30pm (Eastern)

12:00pm - 1:30pm (Central)

In Indiana, twenty-five percent of black or Hispanic youth complete college on time, compared to forty-three percent of their white peers, according to data from the Indiana Commission for Higher Education. In order to close the state’s equity gap in rates of postsecondary success, youth workers must understand how to better support and prepare our minority youth to fulfill their aspirations beyond high school graduation. Join IYI for a panel presentation featuring national and state leaders who are working to strengthen the college and career readiness of minority youth. Gain actionable knowledge, resources and connections that will help you better serve youth from underrepresented populations.
