March 22, 2017

1:00pm - 2:30pm (Eastern)

12:00pm - 1:30pm (Central)

Identity differences such as race, ethnicity and gender can present challenges to serving youth, even among youth-serving practitioners who strive for equity. This webinar will focus on methods to overcome these obstacles by exploring key concepts from the mind sciences: implicit bias, racial anxiety, and stereotype threat. Participants will take away evidence-based strategies to override these unconscious phenomena and improve their own work with youth.
