The presentation will provide an overview of current trends in tobacco use among youth in Indiana and the U.S.   The talk will include public health science as to why tobacco use continues to be a problem.  Suggestions for action and what can be done in Indiana and the U.S. will be shared.  

Speakers: Miranda Spitznagle, Commission Director, Indiana State Department of Health, Tobacco Prevention and Cessation Commission

Miranda H. Spitznagle, is the Director for the Tobacco Prevention and Cessation Commission at the Indiana State Department of Health. She has over 17 years of experience in tobacco control program administration, public health policy, strategic planning, grant writing and program monitoring and evaluation.
