Kori joined IYI as the Outreach Manager in Southeastern Indiana and Solutions Manager for Organizational Capacity in January of 2018. Prior to joining IYI, Kori served as the Director of Communications and Chief Academic Liaison for Ginn Group Consulting, creating and supporting sustainable public-private partnerships to promote school health and wellness centers throughout the United States. She taught English/Language Arts at the secondary level in the public sector for over a decade and continues to serve schools as a volunteer, facilitating youth service projects and writing grants. Kori’s passion for serving youth extends well beyond the walls of educational institutions and our region. Her extensive personal service record ranges from partnering with Gleaners/Feeding America to open school-based food pantries in Indiana schools to participating in overseas projects where she has taught Conversational English to students in Thailand and Cambodia. Kori is completing her dissertation study with Indiana State University, where she will graduate Magna Cum Laude with a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction. She completed her Master of Education degree at Indiana Wesleyan University and her Bachelor of Science degree in Secondary Education-English/Language Arts at Indiana University.
