Alison joined IYI In February of 2015 as the East Central Outreach Manager. Residing in Fishers, her primary role is to build relationships with IYI’s current and potential constituents in the East Central Indiana region and connect them with resources and other community efforts to support youth. She serves youth workers in Blackford, Decatur, Delaware, Fayette, Franklin, Grant, Hancock, Henry, Jay, Madison, Randolph, Rush, Shelby, Wayne and Union counties. As a graduate of Indiana University with a bachelor’s degree in human development and family studies and a master’s degree in public health, Alison’s career started by marketing and teaching health education and health promotion to corporate and community organizations. She has spent the majority of her career directing marketing, communications, account management and event planning for profit and nonprofit organizations. Prior to joining IYI, Alison was creative director at Defender Direct where she was responsible for all print and online marketing. Alison is active in the community as an Indiana regional board member of the Make-A-Wish Foundation, an avid volunteer and philanthropist for Riley Hospital for Children and other scholarship initiatives for youth.
