The Vice President (VP) of Professional Education will be responsible for building the capability of youth serving professionals—from executives to the front line and students—to better lead statewide efforts to improve the safety, education, health, and wellbeing of all children and youth. This leader will oversee the design, development, and execution of all professional development programming and have responsibility for achieving outcome goals within financial targets.
The VP will lead the enhancement and development of youth services education programs that address the needs of the future within a climate that emphasizes learning and engagement, institutional effectiveness, and programmatic excellence and creativity. The VP will ensure programming includes the best and most appropriate content and delivery designs (in person and distance learning), engaging local, state, and national partners and experts. The VP will demonstrate expertise in curriculum design and relationship management.
This position will provide overall leadership for the continued growth, development, and future of IYI’s professional education division. Through a robust website and in-person events, our professional development offerings reach directly to youth serving professionals, providing the opportunity to learn state-of-the-art approaches to improving the systems in which they work. The VP will establish new organizational partnerships and opportunities and will work across IYI divisions to develop new open and customized programming, achieving aggressive outcome and impact targets. The ability to gather market intelligence and describe IYI’s unique education and training proposition will be critical. The VP will lead the division and have specific responsibility for the group’s growth, strategy, operations, and internal and external relationships.
Demonstrated expertise and leadership in improvement; minimum of 8 years of related experience in a team leadership role; experienced educator, designing and running an educational system, and working in a technology or virtual environment preferred; advanced degree required.
This position reports to the President and Chief Executive Officer and oversees two division team members.
Compensation and benefits
This is a full time, exempt position with a strong benefit package. Salary is competitive and commensurate with level of experience.
