Hoosier youth are more likely to consider suicide than their peers nationally. Indiana ranks 3rd out of 37 states in the percentage of high school students who seriously considered attempting suicide and 2nd out of 34 states in the percentage of students who made a suicide plan. As youth-serving professionals, we can all play a role in suicide prevention.
