About This Event

Indiana ranks 48th for child abuse and neglect which puts children’s safety at risk and impacts future well-being across a lifetime. The three types of maltreatment are sexual abuse, physical abuse and neglect. 

During this training, we will review what is considered sexual abuse, how to handle sexual abuse cases when siblings are involved, and best practices for treatment of sexual abuse cases. Focusing on best practices, allows for a 96% success rate of a youth not committing another sexual crime.
