About This Event

Indiana children live in many different types of families. Parents serve an important role in supporting children’s health and learning. Engaged parents help guide their kids, advocate for their children, and can help shape a healthy environment. Compared to children living in two-parent families, kids living with a single-parent or experiencing family structure transitions fare worse in developmental outcomes.  How can parent and family engagement start with you?

During this presentation, you will be exposed to current methods to effectively engage families and focus on areas where you can strengthen your practice and efforts. Be empowered with activities that focus on family and child and deepen understanding of developing family strengths.
