About This Event

Youth often need a different approach(es) to the end game; success. Success looks different for all however as educators we have historically placed ALL children under very similar, often the exact same expectations, rules, and expected outcomes. The development of the human brain is fascinating and daunting. The adolescent brain is even more so.

 We as a community must understand that our youth are unique from adults and are often hindered by environmental factors that demand a different approach if any level of success is to be achieved. The responsibility to make the right choice is ultimately up to the youth. The responsibility to provide opportunities for youth to discover purpose and self-worth is up to us.

Join us for this experience and learn:

  • Facts about the adolescent brain;
  • Why some youth need a different approach to learning;
  • What steps we as a community can take to set our youth up for success
