Funding Resources
In collaboration with the Indiana Youth Institute, The Partnership provides resources and occasional workshops
on how to secure funding for your program. The Partnership does not currently operate a grant award process to
mentoring programs. However, we do keep the mentoring community up-to-date on pending legislation, federal,
and state grants for mentoring initiatives.
Find more information on mentoring legislation here.

MentorPRO

MentorPRO is an online data tracking and analysis system designed for mentoring programs to better manage their
Programs, manage mentoring Relationships and evaluate Outcomes.
MentorPRO provides mentoring programs with standardized measures and a common system for collecting, tracking
and analyzing mentoring data.
MentorPRO is the only system that allows mentoring programs to integrate data derived from the ongoing tracking of
mentoring relationships with youth outcomes data, helping them develop best practices to better serve young people.

We are placing an open call to mentoring programs across the state that are interested in learning about and using
MentorPRO in Virginia.
In order to be considered as a MentorPRO user site, a program must:

  • Demonstrate strong programmatic capacity (e.g., program must be at least one year old and establish evidence of
    long-term sustainability)
  • Work towards achieving the Elements of Effective Practice
  • Be registered and maintain an active record in MENTOR's National Mentoring Database. Register your program!
