With funding provided by the Ball Brothers Foundation, IYI invites grassroots community and faith-based youth-serving nonprofit organizations in Delaware, Randolph, Henry, Jay, Madison, Grant, and Blackford Counties to apply for assistance to improve their current effectiveness and their capacity to serve in the future. Two organizations will receive grants for consultation, executive coaching, and trainings. The deadline was August 17, 2012
Two organizations will be selected for this grant cycle to receive:

Up to 150 hours of professional consulting to provide strategic planning, board development, evaluation planning, fund development, marketing, executive mentoring, financial management policies/processes or other technical assistance that would increase the effectiveness of the organization.

Registration for two to attend IYI's Because Kids Count Conference in Indianapolis on December 4-5, 2012, all approved travel expenses paid.

Registration for one to attend Principles and Techniques of Fundraising taught by The Fundraising School at Indiana University's Center on Philanthropy in Indianapolis, with all approved travel and hotel expenses paid.

Opportunity to apply (based on successful completion of above activities) for a $10,000 sub-award to further improve organizational effectiveness.
