Consultants are assigned on a project basis. IYI staff will talk with you first about your
needs, help you set your priorities and stay within your budget. For information on long-term

- Our consultants
IYI has more than 50 professional consultants with a broad range of expertise located throughout
the state and ready to serve you. The consultants are carefully screened based on interviews,
education, past experience with nonprofits, recommendations from clients, style, the ability to
communicate clearly, and a heart for helping nonprofits. Frequently work on teams with other
IYI consultants with specialized expertise to create solutions.

- Fees
It’s affordable! Most projects cost only $30 an hour (as of July 1, 2008) for professional assistance that normally
can cost $100 an hour or more. Our generous funders and donors make this low price possible.
