Stephen Gill
Stephen joined the Indiana Youth Institute in August 2008 as the Northwest Field Representative. Stephen’s mission is to promote the healthy development of children and youth by serving the institutions and people of Northwest Indiana who work on their behalf. He plays a key role in connecting youth workers in this region with capacity-building resources and with community efforts to support youth.
Prior to becoming a member of team IYI, Stephen worked as a motivational life skills presenter for Vision to Fulfillment, an organization that conducts empowering workshops for students within middle schools and high schools. He also worked as a part-time Academic Coach at John Adams High School in South Bend, Indiana for a nonprofit called Play It Smart. Stephen worked primarily with student-athletes helping them take responsibility for their lives through lessons learned on the playing fields, in the classroom and in service to others.
Stephen resides in Michigan City with his wife, Sabrina, and their three children, Simone, Summer & Stephen.
