Vice President of Fund Development

Raise our highly successful fundraising department to the next levels of success!  A growing and dynamic statewide nonprofit seeks an experienced fundraising executive to serve on our senior leadership team, direct our robust fund development efforts and devise new fundraising strategies that increase and diversify our revenues.

A high capacity professional who is both strongly detailed and exceptionally relational is needed for this senior staff position to advise the President & CEO, serve the fund development committee of our board of directors, and employ a consensus-style of leadership with the fund development staff.

Increase financial gifts from individuals;  build upon our successful efforts to develop financial sponsors of our statewide conference, regional trainings and annual golf event;  and utilize exemplary writing skills to craft persuasive grant proposals and compelling grant reports.
 
Precise budgeting skills are a must along with excellent time management, communication, decision making, presentation and organizational abilities.  Working knowledge of Raiser’s Edge is a plus.  Bachelor’s degree required.  CFRE or graduate degree preferred.  Ideal candidate also will have experience and knowledge within fields such as youth development, education, child welfare, juvenile justice and child health.
