Glenn Augustine, Vice President of Communications

Glenn is responsible for producing the Kids Count statewide radio program and day-to-day marketing and communications for IYI and its programs.

Prior to joining IYI in December 2006, Glenn served for five years as the senior director of university communications at Ball State University and spent 13 years in television news. He won several awards for his reporting during stops in St. Louis, Terre Haute, Indiana, Chattanooga, Tennessee, and Indianapolis.

Glenn is a 1988 graduate of Indiana University with a degree in journalism. Glenn and his wife, Stacey, live in Indianapolis with their four children. In his spare time, Glenn loves to spend time with his family, travel, play golf, read, and root for his favorite sports teams—the St. Louis Cardinals, St. Louis Blues, and Indiana University men’s basketball and football.

Patrice Bey, Program Manager – Conference and Trainings

Patrice joined IYI as the Program Manager of Conference and Trainings in September 2010.  As part of the program team, she manages the Kids Count in Indiana Conference, Webinars, and full-day regional trainings.  Prior to joining IYI, Patrice was the Manger of Program and Events for the Percussive Arts Society, where she developed and implemented a music program that served over 3,500 people in 40 cities and five countries. 

Patrice has over 15 years of experience in corporate and special events.  With expertise in education and professional development programs, Patrice has developed and directed conferences, meetings, and special events.  She has created and facilitated over 100 training programs.  Patrice has worked with nonprofit organizations, private contractors, and Fortune 500 companies.  A graduate of Bradford College in Haverhill, Massachusetts with a bachelor of arts in business management, Patrice currently resides in Indianapolis.

Nicole Brock, Program Manager - Library and Grants

Nicole Brock came to IYI in July 2006. Currently, she helps manage the library and coordinates the various grant programs, including Professional Development Grants and Youth Investment Awards.

Nicole is an AmeriCorps alumnus, with experience in direct youth service and nonprofit management. Prior to joining the IYI staff, she served as an AmeriCorps *VISTA at College Mentors for Kids, Inc. in Indianapolis, coordinating special events and streamlining volunteer engagement efforts. She also spent a year as a team leader with City Year San Antonio, where she tutored children and ran after-school programs in two elementary schools.

An Iowa native, Nicole earned her bachelor’s degree in political science and Spanish from Coe College. She completed her Master of Library Science degree at Indiana University – Indianapolis. In her spare time, Nicole enjoys Indianapolis’ cultural scene as a volunteer usher with the Wellington Theatre Arts Group and an event manager with the Booth Tarkington Civic Theatre.

Tim Clark, Program Manager – The Indiana Mentoring Partnership

Tim joined the IYI team in November 2010 and is responsible for managing the College Access Challenge Grant Program (CACG).

Tim has spent a majority of his professional career in the college and youth sports area. He was a coach at the collegiate level for 8 years in the sports of football and lacrosse. He has served as a program manager for the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and National Youth Sports Corporation (NYSC). Tim has also traveled abroad to work with “third world” countries to assist in the development of sports at the “grass-roots level” for the Unity through Sports Program (USPORT).

Some of Tim’s most recent involvement has been initiating the start of the “graduation coach” position at Herron High School, coordination of mentoring activities for Starfish Initiative, consulting/management work with Circle City Classic, NCAA, Indianapolis Public Schools Athletics and volunteer board participation with US Lacrosse, Indiana Youth Lacrosse Association and other community based groups.

Tim is a native of Syracuse, New York and obtained his bachelors degree in sociology and education from Hobart College in Geneva, New York. He is married and his wife, Sharon, is the head women’s volleyball coach at Butler University. They have a son named Myles.

Kate Coffman, Program Director - College and Career Counseling

Kate joined the IYI team in September 2010. Kate oversees all college and career counseling initiatives including the TripToCollege.org and DriveOfYourLife.org Web sites. Together with Indiana’s College Success Coalition, Kate works toward improving college access and success for Indiana youth.

Kate is a native New Yorker, who received both a bachelor of arts in telecommunications and a masters of science in higher education administration from Indiana University. Prior to joining IYI, Kate worked in college admissions and financial aid for ten years at Indiana University, Franklin College, and the State Student Assistance Commission of Indiana. Kate now resides in Indianapolis with her husband, Tom, and two sons, Will and Alex.  

Brandy Cole, Fund Development Associate

Brandy joined IYI in November 2011 as the Fund Development Associate. She manages IYI’s fundraising database, processes contributions to the organization, tracks sponsorships for IYI events, and assists with other fund development duties.

Brandy earned a bachelor’s degree from Purdue University in ecology and behavioral biology with minors in English and anthropology. Prior to joining the IYI team, she served as the director of operations for an international fraternal organization and educational foundation. In her free time, Brandy enjoys dancing, outdoor activities, and volunteering.

Jennifer Davee, Vice President - Finance and Operations

Jennifer Davee joined IYI in September 2008. She is responsible for all things financial and human resource related, including preparing and analyzing the monthly financial statements. She also develops IYI’s biannual budget. In addition, Jennifer works with the fund development and program staff to develop budgets for grant proposals and satisfies donor’s financial reporting requirements.

Before joining IYI, Jennifer worked for Deloitte and Touche LLP, an international CPA firm, primarily as an audit manager. Prior to that, she worked for the national headquarters of Sigma Kappa Sorority as the director of finance.
Jennifer is a native Hoosier; she attended Butler University and received a Bachelor of Science in accounting in 1998. She now resides in Danville, Indiana with her husband, daughter and two pets. Jennifer is also a Certified Public Accountant licensed to practice in the state of Indiana.

Nancy Flanigan, Customer Service/ Webmaster

Nancy Flanigan joined IYI in January of 2006 in the position of Customer Service/ Webmaster. Nancy provides customer service, manages the updates for the IYI web site, and also does a variety of office administrative duties. In a galaxy far away, Nancy was a sculptor of original production and prototype models for major toy manufacturers and collectible companies. After obtaining a BFA from the University of Cincinnati, she joined the sculpting staff of Kenner Toys, and later, continued sculpting on a freelance basis.

Switching careers, Nancy completed her Associate Degree in Multimedia Design from Ivy Tech Sate College in Indianapolis in 2001. Since then, she has been building her design skills as a freelance web site designer and her administrative skills in part-time positions as an executive assistant.

Stephen Gill, Northwest Indiana Field Representative

Stephen joined the Indiana Youth Institute in August 2008 as the Northwest Field Representative. Stephen’s mission is to promote the healthy development of children and youth by serving the institutions and people of Northwest Indiana who work on their behalf. He plays a key role in connecting youth workers in this region with capacity-building resources and with community efforts to support youth.

Prior to becoming a member of team IYI, Stephen worked as a motivational life skills presenter for Vision to Fulfillment, an organization that conducts empowering workshops for students within middle schools and high schools. He also worked as a part-time Academic Coach at John Adams High School in South Bend, Indiana for a nonprofit called Play It Smart. Stephen worked primarily with student-athletes helping them take responsibility for their lives through lessons learned on the playing fields, in the classroom and in service to others.

Stephen resides in Michigan City with his wife, Sabrina, and their three children, Simone, Summer and Stephen.

Beth Goldman, Communications Manager

Beth joined the staff of IYI in July 2011 as the Communications Manager.  In her position, she manages agency, program, and donor marketing, develops content for the IYI Website, and handles IYI’s social media presence.  Previously, Beth has worked at DonorsChoose.org in Chicago as a regional program coordinator and at the Eiteljorg Museum of American Indians and Western Art in Indianapolis in its marketing department.  She holds a Bachelor of Arts in writing from DePauw University and a master’s degree in library science from Indiana University.  In her spare time, she enjoys being outdoors, traveling, and reading.

Juanita Mejia-Goodwell, Northeastern Indiana Field Staff

Juanita joined IYI in February of 2002 and is the organization's Field Representative in Northeastern Indiana. Previously, she spent nine years with the Twenty-First Century Scholars Program in Fort Wayne where she coordinated that region's site. Prior to that, she worked as an administrator with such Fort Wayne youth agencies as the YWCA and Whitington Homes, Inc. As IYI's Northeastern Indiana field representative, Juanita's primary role is to build relationships with IYI's current and potential constituents in the region and connect them with resources and other community efforts to support youth.  Juanita completed her bachelor degree in criminal justice from Indiana University Purdue University in Fort Wayne. She resides in Fort Wayne with her husband David Goodwell and two step-sons, Justice and Dion.

Lisa Habegger, Director - Library Services

Lisa, who joined the IYI staff in August 2004, is responsible for managing the Virginia Beall Ball Library. Prior to joining IYI, Lisa was an Adult Services Librarian at Brownsburg Public Library, where she was in charge of the library's teen council, helped to develop the young adult and adult collections, and organized programs for all ages. While living in Colorado, Lisa worked as a patron services and catalog librarian for Jefferson County Public Libraries, as a managing director for a nonprofit arts organization, and as a gallery director.

Lisa is a graduate of Indiana University with a BA in Fine Arts, and she holds a Master of Fine Arts degree in painting from the University of Colorado. In 2003, she received her Master of Library Science degree from Indiana University in Indianapolis. In her spare time, she creates paintings and drawings, and has exhibited her artwork locally and in Colorado. She resides on the west side of Indianapolis with her husband Dean (also an artist), their daughters, Annabella and Bethany, and the family dog, Bernie.

Debbie Jones, Program Associate - Outreach and Communications

Debbie joined IYI in November of 2008 as the Program Associate for Outreach and Communications. Debbie is a main liaison between the Outreach Field Staff and the IYI home office; she is responsible for outreach project coordination and for providing field support as needed. She also helps with communication efforts for IYI, including the Kids Count Radio Show and media tracking throughout the state. Debbie has a BS in Journalism from Ball State University. In addition to having almost 20 years of administrative project coordination experience, she also has over 10 years of experience in Youth Ministry. Debbie is active in her home church in Plainfield, Indiana and loves spending time with her family – especially her teenage nieces and nephews.

Emily Krauser, Program Manager - Data

Emily joined the staff of IYI as a Project Manager in data in 2008. As part of the data team, she primarily manages Custom Data Request Services and Issue Briefs.

She has a history of serving youth in Indianapolis that includes working as a graduate assistant with the IUPUI chapter of American Humanics, as a youth supervisor at the Stopover program of the Boner Community Center, and as the administrator for the Philharmonic Orchestra of Indianapolis’ Strings and Jazzy Things summer music camp.

Emily earned her Master’s degree in Philanthropic Studies from the Center on Philanthropy at Indiana University in 2008 where she studied and researched nonprofit giving trends in the U.S. She is also a proud alumna of Ball State University with a degree in Psychology.

Lori Kretz, Program Manager - College and Career Counseling Initiative

Lori’s role at IYI is to promote, manage and develop the Drive of Your Life and Trip to College Web for schools and other youth programs throughout the state.

Lori received her BA from Ball State in elementary education with a focus on kindergarten.  Her Masters degree, also from Ball State, focused on computer education and was obtained with a fellowship in the education department during The Learning Center’s pilot year.  Before joining IYI, Lori taught in public school for ten years and also worked as the Operations Manager for The Possibility Network at Indiana Wesleyan University.

Lori is a lifelong resident of Delaware County with one daughter and three pets.

Carolyn Langan, Program Manager - Consulting and Custom Solutions

Carolyn manages IYI Consulting Services – both Custom Solutions and professional one-on-one projects. Prior to joining IYI in November 2010, she led staff in a variety of settings – youth agencies, community centers, and mental health and addictions agencies. She has expertise in program development and evaluation, resource development, quality improvement, and leadership development. Her experience in agency collaborations, coalitions, and certifications provides a great background for her work at IYI.

Carolyn holds a bachelor’s degree in youth agency administration from the University of Indianapolis and a master’s degree in social work from Indiana University. She is a certified and licensed social worker. Carolyn volunteers for the Council on Accreditation and has served as board chair of the Addiction Resource Network of Indiana. Having lived in rural and urban communities around Indiana, she currently resides in Hendricks County.

Rita Mack-White, Project Manager - Foster Ed Initiative

Rita joined IYI in July 2011 to serve as the FosterEd Program Manager.  This position offers Rita the opportunity to work in two areas that she is very passionate about: social work and education.  As the FosterEd Program Manager, Rita creates and coordinates collaborative efforts that support educational advancement for children in care of the Department of Child Services. 

Rita has been serving youth and families for more than 15 years.  Prior to coming to IYI, Rita served children and families in the Indiana Department of Child Services first as a family case manager and later as a training specialist with the Indiana University School of Social Work and the Department of Child Services Development Partnership.  Rita has also been an elementary school teacher and the founding Director of the Emmanuel Preparatory Academy.  Rita was instrumental in developing tutoring programs and mentoring programs in her church.  She holds a Bachelor’s degree in English from Loyola University Chicago and a Masters of Social Work from Indiana University. Along with volunteering, Rita enjoys spending time with her husband and their son.

April Morris, Finance and Operations Associate

After being an IYI consultant for nearly five years, April Morris officially joined the IYI staff in July 2010 as the Finance and Operations Associate. As part of the Finance and Operations team, she is responsible for a variety of duties that support the Vice President of Finance and Operations and the Director of Operations.

April, who resides in Indianapolis, is an alumna of Alvernia College where she earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in communications. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter.

Lisa Morphew, Executive Coordinator

Lisa joined the IYI staff in May, 2008.  She is responsible for coordinating appointments for the President and CEO.  Prior to joining IYI, Lisa was the Executive Assistant to the President of the Indiana Manufacturers Association and most recently had been part of the Admission Staff at DePauw University.  Lisa is married and has three children.  In her spare time she enjoys writing and performing music and is a very active member in her church. 

Carol Neary, Outreach Manager - College and Career Counseling Initiative
Carol joined the IYI staff in June 2011. She promotes IYI’s TripToCollege.org and DriveOfYourLife.org Web sites to youth-serving organizations throughout the state.

Previously, she directed the College Access Program for Starfish Initiative, a mentoring and college-access organization serving Marion County high school students enrolled in Indiana's Twenty-first Century Scholars Program. Carol holds certifications for both the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator and Strong Career Interest Inventory assessments. She has extensive experience with fundraising in higher education, most recently with the IU School of Law-Indianapolis.

Carol is a native Hoosier, holding a BA in Communications from IUPUI and a certificate in Fund Raising Management from the IU Center on Philanthropy. She resides in Indianapolis, has two grown sons, is an avid reader, enjoys travel, and serves as a volunteer college- access mentor to a high school student.

Sarah Patterson, Program Manager - Data

Sarah joined IYI in August 2008. She works as a part of the data management team, with primary responsibility for the Kids Count in Indiana Data Book, as well as handling data requests and other data management projects.

Sarah has held positions at a variety of social organizations, including the GED and employment skills instructor at Craine House, an alternative sentencing program for female offenders, and research specialist at the Indianapolis Richard Roudebush Veterans Hospital. Sarah has always had an interest in youth-serving organizations. During her four years of undergraduate studies, she served as a public library tutor for a K-6 homework help center.

Sarah completed her master’s in sociology at IUPUI and received her bachelor’s degree in sociology and psychology from Indiana University in Bloomington.

Linda Plummer, Bookkeeper

Linda joined the Indiana Youth Institute in 1987. In her role as bookkeeper she maintains the organization's day-to-day business operations, which includes accounts payable and accounts receivable. Linda's customer-service approach, record keeping and strong organizational skills do much to support the statewide efforts of the program staff at IYI.

Michelle Sanchez, Southeast Indiana Field Representative

Michelle’s primary role is to build relationships with IYI’s current and potential constituents in the southern Indiana region and connect them with resources and other community efforts to support youth. Prior to joining IYI’s team in January of 2010, she spent two years as a job developer with Arbor Education and Training, serving many of the same counties she currently serves for IYI.

A graduate of Purdue University, Michelle is a Madison native and has worked for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Jefferson County. She has also coached volleyball at the middle school level and continues to officiate volleyball at all levels. Michelle has tutored students in the AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) program at Madison Consolidated High School and spent time as part of the adjunct faculty for Ivy Tech State College, teaching basic math and algebra, as well as a course in developing college and life success skills. For several years, Michelle served as a business development specialist for the Small Business Development Center of Indiana in Madison. She has a huge heart for the unique needs of youth within our state as a result of her experience with youth from various demographics.

Rebecca Sero-Lynn, Ph.D., Program Manager - Evaluation

Rebecca Sero-Lynn joined IYI as the Project Manager of Evaluations in June 2010.  In this position, she is responsible for conducting evaluations for IYI’s programs.  Rebecca also manages the Custom Solutions portion of IYI, which provides evaluation services to youth serving agencies across the state.

Rebecca’s previous employment has included a wide range of research, assessment, and evaluation duties in the for-profit, nonprofit, and government sectors.  Most recently, she worked on a national research project for The Center on Philanthropy at Indiana University on behalf of United Way Worldwide.

Rebecca earned a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Sociology from Ohio Northern University and a Master's degree in Family Studies from Miami University of Ohio. Rebecca completed her doctoral degree in Child Development and Family Studies at Purdue University.

Joe Shrode, Southwest Indiana Field Representative

Before joining IYI, Joe worked for the Evansville Youth Service Bureau as Director of After School Programs for an eight-county area. Prior to that, he worked for Youth First, Inc., an Evansville-based youth substance abuse prevention agency. He has directed and facilitated a variety of programs designed to build life skills and provide positive adult role models and safe haven for youth. Joe is active in many agencies and coalitions in southwest Indiana.

Joe spent nearly 20 years in marketing communications before entering the youth serving field. While in this role he learned the importance of assessing needs and objectives, providing appropriate services, outcome evaluation, networking, public relations, and many other services that are vital to non-profit agencies as well.

Joe's objective is to support youth-serving non-profit agencies by bringing awareness of IYI's services to southwest Indiana. Joe lives in Evansville with his wife, Cathy, who is a special education teacher and their son, Sam.

Candice Singleton, Outreach Manager - Indiana Mentoring Partnership

Candice joined IYI in November of 2011 under the Indiana Mentoring Partnership’s umbrella. Candice has over 10 years of experience in education, youth mentoring, youth development and higher education. Prior to IYI, she worked with Jobs for America’s Graduates (JAG) here in the Hoosier state serving fiv e high schools in the Indianapolis Metropolitan area; was an educator in the Detroit Public School System; and worked in admissions in a university setting. As Outreach Manager for IMP, Candice facilitates training and technical assistance to youth mentoring programs across the state.
Candice is a native of Dayton, OH. She received her MBA from Salem University and her bachelor’s degree from The Ohio State University. A proud Buckeye, Candice enjoys going back to the games to root her team on with her husband, Jason, who is also an alumna, as well traveling and  spending time with their two children, Jason and Kyndal.

Jaime Theresa Smith, CMP, Director of Operations

Joining IYI in the summer of 2001 as a TechWizard intern, Jaime soon transitioned to interim Business Manager while maintaining her TechWizard responsibilities. Jaime continued to manage a growing number of projects, again transitioning positions. Her title of Business Associate soon changed to Project Manager of Business and Information Technology. Now, as Director of Operations, Jaime is responsible for the information technology infrastructure, all vendor relations, the human resources initiative, the logistics of regional trainings, and the logistics and production of the Kids Count in Indiana Annual Conference.

Dependable, efficient, and extremely organized, Jaime has served three consecutive years as Co-Chair for the Awards Night for IMPI (Indiana Chapter for Meeting Professionals International). Working tirelessly to strengthen her skills as a meeting professional, Jaime invests her time and energy into professional education and networking. She is the recipient of the 2009-2010 Planner of the Year Award and the June 2010 Shining Star.

An alumnus of the University of Indianapolis, Jaime graduated Summa Cum Laude with a major in Theatre and a minor in Information Systems. She continued in theatre upon graduating, performing in Romeo and Juliet and maintaining technical/backstage roles for a production of How I Learned to Drive. Jaime also taught ballroom dance for Arthur Murray Studio. She enjoys spending time with her family at Lake Monroe and traveling as much as possible.

Lela Smith, Central Indiana Field Representative

Lela Smith joined the Indiana Youth Institute in April 2010 as the Central Field Representative. Previously, she worked in the field of sales for six years. Lela serves the institutions and her fellow workers of Central Indiana by connecting them with necessary resources and other community efforts to support youth.

Lela has devoted the majority of her career to working with children. She has owned a daycare center and coached volleyball where she substitute taught for her school district. Through this hands-on experience, Lela developed close relationships with the children, and as a service provider learned to understand their development. She also has volunteered her services at the YMCA and at Motivate Our Minds in Muncie, where she tutored young children after school.

Lela completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Education from Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana. She resides in Indianapolis with her husband, Terry, and three kids, Andrea, Alysia, and Asia.
 

Bill Stanczykiewicz, President and CEO


Bill Stanczykiewicz serves as President and CEO of the Indiana Youth Institute, a statewide nonprofit which has become a favorite resource for youth-service providers, government officials and the media across the Hoosier State.  The Indiana Youth Institute’s success has been acknowledged by the Indiana Achievement Awards, the Indiana Excellence Awards, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, and by the Martin Luther King, Junior, “Living the Legacy” Award.

Bill was personally honored as a “Distinguished Hoosier” by Indiana Governor Frank O’Bannon.  His efforts in public administration have included working in the United States Senate and serving in a cabinet level position in the Indianapolis mayor’s office.  Bill currently is appointed by Governor Mitch Daniels to serve on Indiana’s Education Roundtable as well as on the State Workforce Innovation Council, and he was elected to serve on his local school board in Boone County.

Honors and awards have included being listed in “Who’s Who in Education” by the Indianapolis Business Journal; being named a “Friend of Education” by the Indiana State Teachers Association; earning national recognition as a “Next Generation Leader” from the Rockefeller Foundation; and being cited as a “High Performer” by Jobs for America’s Graduates.

Bill’s professional career started in the media where he won the “Indiana Sportscaster of the Year” award.  Bill now uses his communication skills to deliver inspiring and informative messages about youth development and academic achievement in local communities like Washington County, Indiana, to national audiences in Washington, D.C.  Bill’s media appearances have included ABC’s Good Morning America, ESPN and numerous local television, radio and newspaper interviews across Indiana.

Bill earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Northwestern University and a master’s degree in public administration from George Mason University; and Bill is an adjunct faculty member at Purdue University in West Lafayette.

December Warren, Program Director - The Indiana Mentoring Partnership

Prior to joining IYI, December was the Executive Director at the Koch Family Children’s Museum of Evansville (cMoe) where she defined and led the creation, development and establishment of the nationally respected educational institution. She gained extensive experience in project development, fund development and non-profit management. Prior to returning to Indiana, December served as the Director of International Trade for the Birmingham Regional Chamber of Commerce where she worked with international companies and locally owned Hispanic businesses. Since the inception of the Indiana Mentoring Partnership, December has been instrumental in developing the vision and strategic plan of the project as well as establishing a supportive network of nonprofit, business and government partnerships.

December is a graduate of Samford University with a BA in Spanish and the University of Montevallo with a Masters in Education. 
 

Julie Whitman, Vice President of Programs

Julie joined IYI in April of 2010, where she oversees the training, consulting, data, and library programs. Prior to coming to IYI, Julie was Director of Special Projects at the National Center for Victims of Crime, where she led numerous research projects and oversaw national youth leadership initiatives on teen victimization. She has provided training, technical assistance, and facilitation around the country, conducted research and evaluation projects, and written and reviewed federal grants. She has experience collaborating with schools, and youth-serving organizations, law enforcement officers, prosecutors, and victim service providers, and has a background in after-school tutoring, mentoring, and summer camp.

Julie is fluent in Spanish and enjoys travel and all kinds of food. She holds a Master of Social Work degree from Boston College and a Bachelor’s degree from Harvard University. She lives in Whitestown with her husband and their three children.

Roxane Williams, Program Associate

Roxane joined the IYI staff in March 2008. She is responsible for maintaining the IYI mailing list, tracking program usage, and supporting the program staff. She has an Associate’s Degree in Information Technology from Southwest Tennessee Community College and a background in data processing and accounting. Prior to moving to Indiana, she worked as a data analysis at Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN. Roxane is an Arkansas native. She lived in Tennessee for 18 years before relocating to Indiana two years ago. She now resides in Indianapolis with her husband and daughter.

Stephanie Yoder, Vice President of Statewide Outreach

Stephanie joined IYI in June 2008. As Vice President of Statewide Outreach, she supervises the agency’s five field representatives and the technical assistance and connection they provide to local youth-serving organizations. She also directs the federally-funded Indiana Responsible Fatherhood Initiative, which supports five community coalitions that help improve father involvement with their children.

For more than 13 years, Stephanie worked in the public child welfare system, first as a family case manager working directly with children and families, then in policy and program development. She later led the Marion County child welfare office. Prior to joining IYI, Stephanie led the field management team for the Indiana Department of Child Services for three years. In this role, Stephanie hired and led 18 regional managers and three executive managers in implementing system wide reform to fundamentally change practice at the local level and to improve outcomes for children and families in Indiana. Stephanie holds a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and Sociology and a Master’s degree in Social Work, both from Indiana University. Stephanie and her husband, Ed, live in Mooresville with their five children.
